In my journey to a more natural way of life I’ve found myself asking constantly, “What‘s in that?!?” Everything that I use on or in my body is inspected to make sure I’m not polluting it. Sure, I could go to the store and buy the natural versions, but it’s better for you to know the whole process and everything that goes in it. It gives a sense of independence from companies to make what you need for yourself. Make-up foundation is one product that is incredibly easy to make; picking the right shade in the store has always flustered me. Not to mention that if I were to buy make-up it would expire before I used it all, I just don’t wear it that much. Here is an easy way to make a natural foundation.
- Cocoa powder
- Cinnamon powder
- Tapioca starch
- A container to keep it in
- Utensil to stir
Simply mix together and try a little on your skin at a time until you reach the shade you want.
*You could use cocoa, cinnamon or both; it all depends on your skin and preference.
