We mentioned blueberries above but we had to give a shout out to berries in general. Especially “raspberries, blackberries, and strawberries, they are great in achieving a healthy glow. They’re also high in anthocyanins and quercetin, which will help reduce inflammation and keep your skin looking evenly toned and radiant.” activebeat.com
Avocados are just so creamy and are loaded with healthy fats. They make a wonderful natural skin mask but eating them is also great for your skin. They help prevent blemishes and enhance the quality of your skin. “Tomatoes are packed with natural vitamins and minerals, including Vitamin A, K, B1, B3, B5, B6, B7, and vitamin C”, says Dr. Manoj K. Ahuja, Sukhda Hospital. But what makes tomatoes stand out in the beauty world, is lycopene, an antioxidant which has amazing anti-aging properties.
Walnuts are rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids can reduce inflammation, even in the skin and add structure to skin cell membranes. This helps keep moisture in and toxins out of the cells!
