Blackheads are the accumulation of dead skin cells, dust, and oil in the pores of our skin results in a bump of a black or reddish-brown color. Trying to squeeze them out can result in skin inflammation, rashes, scars and damage to your skin.

Here are some simple yet effective home remedies to remove blackheads and cure acne quickly. These home remedies will clean your skin, its pores, kill those harmful microbes on it and vanish blackheads.

1. EGGWHITE MASK

Albumin is a protein present in the egg white which has great skincare properties. This method is excellent for removing the blackheads and also giving you glowing and tight skin.

• Take a bowl
• Add 1 whole egg’s white
• Add 1 teaspoon of raw organic honey
• Mix well and apply it on your face
• Let it dry thoroughly and then rinse it off using warm water.
• Doing this once or twice a week will show the best results.

2. ALOE VERA MASK

Aloe vera is a magical plant. The gel obtained from the leaves is not only good for your skin but also your hair and digestive tract. This remedy will cleanse your pores, soothe your skin and control its oil production.

• Take a bowl and an aloe vera leaf
• Remove the gel from the leaf placing it into the bowl
• Apply the gel on your face

3. TOMATO MASK

4. FENUGREEK MASK

6. STEAMING YOUR FACE

• Pour hot water into a tub
• Take a towel
• Put your face above the tub and cover your head with the towel in such a way that no steam escapes.
• Do this for 1 or 2 mins and then repeat the process 3 or 4 times after little breaks

7. EXFOLIATION

Exfoliation removes blackheads by extracting dead skin cells from their roots. It is suitable for oily as well as dry skin.

8. HONEY SCRUB

• Take a bowl
• Add 1 tablespoon each of raw organic honey, lemon juice, and sugar
• Mix the ingredients and apply to your face by rubbing it in a circular motion
• Keep it on for 10 mins then wash it off

9. MILK SCRUB

Milk has lactic acid which kills the bacteria on the skin and breaks downs the dead skin cells which eliminate the growth of blackheads

• Take some raw milk
• Add one tablespoon nutmeg powder to it
• Apply it on your face gently scrubbing with a circular motion
• Then wash it off with warm water
• Doing this every day will result in clear skin

10. TOOTHPASTE

Toothpaste having mint in them can open up your clogged pores and also kill any bacteria that may be present.

• Take a little mint toothpaste
• Some water
• An ice cube
• Apply the toothpaste on the nose, or any place affected by blackheads and let it dry off for 5 mins.
• Then apply a few drops of water and massage in circular motions for a few minutes
• Wash it off and run the ice cube over the area
• Doing this every day will prevent the formation of blackheads on your skin

When using any of the home remedies, especially the scrubs, it is essential for you to be careful and not scrub your skin excessively.
