Yoga is not a religion.
It is not hard nor is it easy. It’s not profound or meaningless. Nor is yoga is not a line of designer pants colorful and comfortable as they may be. Yoga is not just for skinny, flexible people. Yoga simply is what you want it to be. It can be your morning exercise or your entire way of life.
Yoga is for everyone and every being.
It is life, it gives life, it heals, it mends, it breaks you down at the very moment your mind, body, and spirit need it most. Yoga allows for space inside when sometimes the outer world has none. It gives the awareness that things are really okay just as they are, no matter what circumstance you’re hit with that day. It gives you strength to overcome physically and emotionally difficult times, as well as creating space to encourage a healthy body. Yoga is the reminder to wake up early and get enough sleep at night, as well as an eye-opening experience on what you think is good for your body and what isn’t.
Whatever yoga is or isn’t to you, it’s an awakening of sorts. It helps many not only physically, but also how to cope with the outer world. The answer is always inside you and yoga creates the space for you to dive into yourself.
Go be an explorer of your health and well-being. Unlock what lies within.
